Join Artemis Georgia Women for a Georgia SCI Intro to Hunting Firearms Training

This opportunity is available for 6 to 8 ladies (18+) who want to develop their skills with firearms. Experienced volunteers are welcome to contribute and support as well. The event will be held on Sunday, August 13, from approximately 8am-3pm located 20 minutes SE of Macon (private property near Dry Branch). Cost will be $50 with lunch included. LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS MONDAY, AUGUST 7.

Expectations:

We will start the morning with introductions, a safety talk and classroom education. We will provide eye and ear protection then head outdoors to practice. We will cover shooting shotguns and rifles. Safety will be the number one priority and emphasized through out every interaction. We will host lunch then take your newly developed skills and practice them in more real world situations (hunting from a tree stand, stalking etc.). 

You may bring your own firearm and ammo if you have one. We can provide guidance in technique, sighting it in and more. There will be different firearms for you to try. Camping is available for those who have a longer drive. 

Consider this registration as an application. Ensure you complete the pre-program survey if you haven't before as we will use this survey to select the participants. Artemis Georgia strives to create a safe and welcoming environment for all, we appreciate your participation. Your responses will also help us ensure we understand everyone's experience level, expectations and challenges.
